BMW Launches MINI Clubman

BMW has launched the all-new MINI Clubman, the flagship of the MINI brand, in India and will be available at MINI Dealerships as completely built-up unit. The vehicle has been priced at Rs 37.9 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The car is available as standard in the moonwalk grey metallic colour, however, there is a range of optional colours including pepper white, volcanic orange, pure burgundy and more. The BMW Group had bought the British brand Mini in 2001.

The 2-litre 4-cylinder engine with Twin Power Turbo Technology of the all-new MINI Clubman mobilises a peak output of 141 kW/192 hp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm torque. It sprints from 100 km/hr in 7.2 seconds and the top speed is 228 km/hr. The standard 8-speed automatic steptronic transmission is available in a MINI for the first time.

The all- new MINI Clubman’s standard safety equipment comprises Front and Passenger Airbags, Brake Assist, 3-Point Seat Belts, Dynamic Stability Control, Crash Sensor, Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control and Run-flat Indicator.

The interior of the vehicle is highlighted by LED lighting which illuminates the cabin with a choice of selectable colours. There is an optional alarm system which illuminates the red LED status light integrated in fin antenna allowing the car to be located easily in a crowd.

The MINI comes with Radio MINI Visual Boost. Full functionality is available through the app downloaded via iTunes or Google Play Store. The optional MINI Wired package offers an 8.8 inch touch screen with Touchpad controller, Navigation System Professional, MINI Connected XL and a 20 GB internal hard drive for all media storage.
