With an objective is to provide a platform to the Indian auto component aftermarket suppliers to showcase their capabilities, explore aftermarket business opportunities and connect with global auto component suppliers, the Automotive Component Manufacturers Association (ACMA), is participating at the ongoing Automechanika Frankfurt 2016.
The apex body of the Indian auto component manufacturers has booked 686 square metres of prime space with over 52 leading Indian auto component manufacturers showcasing aftermarket products.
Rattan Kapur, President, ACMA said, “ACMA is proud to participate at the most renowned and successful aftermarket trade fair to showcase technological prowess of the Indian auto component industry. In light of our theme this year “Winning with Quality and Innovation”, we are showcasing some of the cutting edge technologies and innovative products. Our emphasis has been to move up the value chain by providing a differential that will allow us to be preferred suppliers of choice for our customers. Needless to say, this edition will further contribute towards ensuring opportunities for business development for deepening the distribution chain”, he added.
Recognising the importance of the Trade Fair Vinnie Mehta, Director General, ACMA said, “With the objective to connect globally, ACMA’s participation at Automechanika Frankfurt offers a reliable platform for the international automotive component and aftermarket professionals to source best of the Indian aftermarket products & technologies besides creating business alliance with the exhibiting participants.”
He further said, “Over the years the Indian auto component industry has developed strong manufacturing capabilities that have helped them in offering price competitive products and meeting stringent quality norms. Indian auto components are exported to more than 160 countries and have been growing at 15 percent per annum over the past six years.”
ACMA Automechanika New Delhi
Further, next year 21 – 24 March the 3rd ACMA Automechanika New Delhi will be orgainsed at Pragati Maidan by ACMA in partnership with Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India. The show will welcome 500+ exhibitors and 15000+ visitors.
“The upcoming ACMA Automechanika in New Delhi, India will witness state-of-the-art innovative products and solutions for the aftermarket, high-level awareness programs on curbing counterfeit business and raising safety issues,” added Mehta.
The auto component industry of India is a strong USD 39 billion industry with exports of USD 11.2 billion. The Indian auto component market is expected to grow to USD 200 billion by 2026, while the aftermarket is expected to grow from USD 6.5 billion to USD 32 billion.
