Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry to Organise Manufacturing Conference

The Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI), in partnership with Invest India and The Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is organising a Manufacturing conference on 23 June 2017 at The Westin, Velachery. The event hopes to share diverse experiences and knowledge in the field of manufacturing, and strives to further connect Indian and French companies for mutually beneficial purposes.

The special invitees who will be attending the conference include Ram Venkataramani, President, MCCI & Managing Director, IP Rings Ltd., Payal Koul, Vice President, Invest India, Philippe Janvier-Kamiyama, Consul General of France to Pondicherry, Siddharth Jain, I.A.S., Commissioner of Industries & CEO of AP Invest, Girish Shankar, IAS, Secretary of Heavy Industries Department & Chairman, National Automotive Board.

Leading French companies in India will participate in panel discussions include FranceCol Technology, Lactalis India, Saint Gobain India Pvt. Ltd., Mecaplast India Pvt. Ltd., Alstom India & South Asia, Michelin India Pvt. Ltd.; Renault India Pvt. Ltd. With increasing demand and the changing patterns of consumerism, it is vital that the development that takes place does not jeopardize the fate of the future generation. Keeping this in mind, initiatives to bring greater advancements in the automotive industry continue to be the priority, while consciously keeping the environmental footprint as low as possible. In this panel discussion, the Heads of French companies will share their expertise in R&D and various other manufacturing processes, which they follow in order to bring about sustainable growth in mobility.
