Tata Motors has launched its new Gen-next lifestyle SUV, Tata Nexon. Targeted at the personal car buyers, Nexon is the fourth product based on the ‘Impact Design’ philosophy. With an introductory price of INR 597315 (petrol) and INR 697509 (diesel, ex-showroom Chennai) Nexon is the most competitively priced SUV in this segment, claims the company.
“Nexon is a sporty SUV with extremely contemporary styling engineered to deliver excellence with dynamic handling, sporty performance, smart connectivity and comfort along with advanced safety features. Reinforcing the lineage of our path breaking offerings, Nexon highlights our positive outlook in expanding our market presence by attracting a self-motivated and younger base of customers,” said Vivek Srivatsa, Head – Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors.
The features of Nexon include: 1.2 L turbocharged petrol fronm the revotron series and the 1.5 L diesel engine from the revotorq series, ground clearance of 209 mm and first in segment multi-drive mode with 6-speed manual transmission.
Available in four variants – XE, XM, XT, XZ+, Nexon comes in five colour options – Vermont Red, Moroccan Blue, Seattle Silver, Glasgow Grey and Calgary White.
