Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (F A D A) appoints Saharsh Damani as its first CEO. With a career spanning over a decade in various Liaising, M&A, Strategy and Research related roles, Damani will drive FADA’s work and support the Executive Committee, the Council and the dealer community at large in seeking solutions on issues related to Auto Retail Industry.
Damani had help top positions in All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) and Indian Broadcasting Foundation (IBF) in the past. Apart from Media & Entertainment, Damani has worked in various other industries, such as, Information Technology, Building Materials and Life Sciences, on M&A, Strategy and Research related areas.
Damani graduated in Accountancy Honours and went on to do his Masters in Finance (Gold Medallist) followed by CFA and MBA (Finance & Marketing).
“As major disruptions become the order of the day, and with the auto retail industry in the cusp of some of the most transformative changes since the times of Henry Ford, it is imperative that FADA, as the apex body of automobile dealers associations in India, strategise and engage consistently with one and all, to leverage the best possible outcome for the industry. Towards this end, Saharsh Damani’s stint with FADA as CEO should definitely take us forward in giant leaps,
given his immense talent and career experience, apart from imparting a professional orientation and corporate culture to FADA’s initiatives,” said FADA President John K Paul.
Founded in 1964, FADA represents 13,000 automobile dealers, including 26 associations of automobile dealers at the regional, state and city levels, accounting for over 90% of retail automobile trade in India.
