WABCO India has received the Future Ready Factory Award for its Mahindra World City in the auto ancillary sector based on its plant’s operational performance and business results. Analyst firm Frost & Sullivan launched the India Manufacturing Excellence Awards 14 years ago and has partnered with more than 600 manufacturing companies in India to enhance their manufacturing competitiveness using a global framework for mapping excellence.
WABCO’s Mahindra World City plant also received the Export Excellence Award from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in India recently. The plant secured the first position for contributing to India’s net foreign exchange earnings for the year 2015-16.
