Tata Motors has entered into a long-term partnership with Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, India. The tie-up is to develop talent at multiple levels in the organization and help provide avenues for collaborative research, content development and knowledge exchange between industry and academia. The Memorandum of Understanding has been signed for six years in the presence of Gajendra Chandel, Chief Human Resource Officer, Tata Motors and S B Mujumdar, the Chancellor, Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor; Dr M S Shejul, the Registrar and Dr Seema Singh, Director, SCCE of Symbiosis International. An Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (EPGDBM) for the employees of Tata Motors will commence immediately.
“The partnership with Symbiosis International is envisaged as mutually rewarding that will help us not only push the boundaries of learning for our Managers but also build case studies and related teaching capabilities. When industry and academia work in tandem to push the frontiers of knowledge coupled with real-time applications, they become a powerful engine for innovation and value creation leading to higher economic growth. We are simultaneously gearing up to roll-out more such collaborative tie-ups with Academia to develop industry-ready resources,” said GajendraChandel.
