The UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, together with IEIA is celebrating Global Exhibitions Day on June 6, 2018. Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is extending its support to Global Exhibitions Day 2018 (GED 2018) to propagate the importance of exhibitions for the development of various industries across sectors.
“Exhibitions have broken the barriers in business relations between various countries and bridged the trade gap to support various industries and develop the economy of nations. Global Exhibitions Day is one of the important events for the exhibition industry to propagate its importance to various stakeholders and we wholeheartedly support this initiative,” said V Anbu, CEO of BIEC.
BIEC has hosted 261 events occupying 1470 days creating a benchmark for India’s exhibition industry in the past decade. With the construction of a new exhibition Hall (Hall 4) in 2017, BIEC became the second largest exhibition infrastructure in India with a total indoor exhibition space capacity of 60,000 square metres. Construction of Hall 5 is in progress. With the completion of Hall 5 construction BIEC will have a gross space of around 77,000 sq.mts.
