BMW Motorrad launches G 310 R and G 310 GS In India

BMW Motored India today launched two new motorbikes – G 310 R and G 310 GS at the company’s Training Centre in Gurugram, India.

Priced at RS 2.99 lakh and RS 3.49 lakh respectively, these bikes have been developed by BMW Motored in Munich, Germany and manufactured in India by its cooperation partner TVS Motor Company.

Both the vehicles are powered by 313 cc water-cooled single cylinder four-stroke engine with four valves and two overhead camshaft coupled with electronic fuel injection system.
The engine, spewing 25kW of power at 9,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 28Nm at 7,500 rpm,  is mated with six-speed gearbox to offer spontaneous throttle response and lively pulling power, delivering dynamic riding performance.
The motorbikes have a torsionally stiff robust tubular steel frame in grid structure with bolt on rear frame. The front wheel is supported by upside down fork and the suspension geometry is designed for easy handling, stability and neutral cornering response. In addition, the motorcycles come with two-channel ABS for efficient deceleration and short braking distance. Both the models come with standard warranty for three years / unlimited kilometres.
